For every tournament week, our model processes the latest field and generates a probability of a top finish for every player. We compare the model's probability with the prevailing market consensus and rank players by signal strength.
We score every player by signal strength - the gap between the model's probability and the market consensus. Players with a positive signal and a conviction of at least 5 make the rankings list, capped at the top 8.
Conviction is a single number summarising how strongly the data lines up behind a player. Higher conviction means more of the eight factors are pointing in the same direction.
Once per tournament week, generated on the Monday morning before the event. Mid-week updates only happen if the field changes materially.
