What happens when your ProPlace free trial ends?
Nothing is charged on day eight. The ProPlace trial takes an email only, so there is no payment to cancel and no automatic renewal. Here is exactly what stays, what stops, and what it costs to carry on.

Nothing is charged. The ProPlace trial runs for seven days and never asks for a card, so on day eight there is no payment to cancel, no automatic renewal and no invoice. Your account stays exactly where it is. What changes is access: the research pages stop opening until you choose a plan.
Why there is no card
The trial takes an email address and nothing else. That is a deliberate choice and it cuts both ways. It means you cannot be charged by accident and you do not have to remember to cancel anything. It also means we never find out whether the week was worth paying for unless you decide it was and tell us so by subscribing. We would rather be judged on that than on a forgotten renewal.
What you keep after the trial ends
Your account and login stay. The free card stays: one complete player analysis published every Monday, given away whole rather than blurred, and it needs no subscription at all. The public results archive stays open, including the weeks the model got it wrong. The blog and the glossary stay open. None of that is behind the paywall and none of it goes away.
What stops
The week's full ranked list of the field, the player deep dives behind each name, and the live tracker through the tournament. Those are the subscriber pages and they close on day eight.
What it costs to carry on
Twenty pounds a month, or two hundred pounds a year, which works out at sixteen pounds sixty-seven a month and saves forty pounds against paying monthly. Cancel whenever you want. Every figure here is the live price on the account page; if it ever differs, the account page is right and this sentence is wrong. The full breakdown is in our pricing explainer.
Seven days is two full tournaments, and that is the point
The trial is not seven days by accident. It is set to span two complete tournament weeks, so you see the whole cycle twice: the research going out before a ball is struck, the tracker through the week, and the settled outcome published afterwards whether it flattered us or not.
What to actually judge in those seven days
This is the honest part. Do not judge us on whether those two weeks won. Two tournaments is a sample far too small to tell you anything real about a model, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. What two weeks can tell you is whether the reasoning is legible, whether the names come with an argument you can check rather than a number you have to take on faith, whether the model disagrees with the obvious end of the market for a reason you can follow, and whether the record gets published in full including the weeks it went badly. Those are answerable in seven days. The performance question needs months.
If you want to understand the method behind the rankings before the week starts, read how we pick, and for a full sense of what the trial opens up see what you get during the seven days.
If your trial has already ended
Reply to any email ProPlace has sent you and ask. Doug reads them and can restart access. There is no automated hoop and no retention script.
ProPlace is a statistical research product, not a tipster service and not a bookmaker. Nothing here is a recommendation to stake money on anything.
